In August 2025, Jamie and Michael were married at Log Haven, nestled in the heart of Millcreek Canyon just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. Their ceremony took place in the back meadow, tucked just before the pond and swans, creating an intimate and serene setting surrounded by towering trees and soft summer light. The entire day felt effortlessly refined, with every detail thoughtfully designed to enhance the natural beauty of the canyon.
The Setting at Log Haven
One of the most unique aspects of this wedding was the ceremony location within Log Haven itself. Set in the back meadow just before the pond, this space offers a quiet, secluded atmosphere that feels both expansive and deeply personal. Guests were immersed in the landscape from the moment they arrived, with nature serving as the perfect backdrop for a romantic and meaningful ceremony.
The Vision
Jamie and Michael envisioned a wedding that felt timeless, romantic, and connected to the surrounding environment. The design leaned into a garden-inspired aesthetic, with soft textures, natural movement, and a palette that complemented the greens and neutrals of Millcreek Canyon. The goal was to create an experience that felt elevated and intentional, while still allowing the setting to remain the focal point.
Floral Design
The floral design was centered on thoughtful placement and refined composition. Rather than overwhelming the space, each floral moment was designed to feel as though it naturally belonged within the landscape.
Using a curated selection of seasonal blooms, the designs featured soft layering, delicate textures, and organic movement. This created a look that felt romantic and elevated, while maintaining a sense of ease and authenticity. From the ceremony to the reception, each floral element worked together to tell a cohesive and visually stunning story.
Ceremony in the Back Meadow
The ceremony in the back meadow was both intimate and visually striking. Florals were used to gently frame the couple without distracting from the surrounding scenery. The positioning of each piece was intentional, guiding the eye while preserving the openness and beauty of the space.
As Jamie and Michael exchanged vows, guests were fully immersed in the quiet elegance of the canyon, creating a moment that felt both peaceful and unforgettable.
Reception Moments
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception designed to feel warm, inviting, and refined. Their beautiful tablescapes featured a balance of florals and candlelight, adding depth and ambiance to the space.
The overall design encouraged connection and conversation, while still maintaining a polished and elevated aesthetic. Every detail contributed to an experience that felt cohesive from beginning to end.
